Teen Health Connection began its journey on February 25, 1992, in a small building on Elizabeth Avenue. Recognizing the growing number of Mecklenburg County teens lacking routine healthcare and engaging in risky behaviors, the organization was established to provide essential medical and behavioral health services. By fostering connections among adolescents, parents, and the community, Teen Health Connection aims to improve the overall health of young people.
