Team Britton

Our Story

Team Britton is a nonprofit organization inspired by Britton Butler, who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer at just twenty-two. His mission was to raise awareness about cancer, particularly emphasizing the importance of early detection and dispelling the myth that colon cancer only affects older individuals. In honor of his legacy, the first annual golf tournament was held posthumously in 2012, supporting The Colon Cancer Alliance and providing opportunities for underprivileged children to attend University of Tennessee sporting events.

Impact

Since its inception, Team Britton has successfully raised funds for cancer awareness and provided memorable experiences for children, fulfilling Britton's wishes and positively impacting the community.
