Our Story

In the fall of 2012, Bradley Lucas Cassavant was just 3 1/2 months old when his parents rushed him to the hospital after he became unresponsive. After a few hours of testing, doctors discovered a rare brain tumor known as ATRT. Over the next nine months, Bradley faced multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and extensive therapy at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Despite the love and support from his family, Bradley lost his battle with brain cancer shortly after his first birthday on August 9, 2013. In his memory, the Team Bradley Bear Foundation Inc. was established to support families and children facing similar life-threatening illnesses, including ATRT and medulloblastoma.
