Founded in 1999, Teach My People is a Christ-centered, academically focused program dedicated to supporting elementary school students in need at Waccamaw Elementary School. The establishment of the Teach My People Center in 2004 marked a significant milestone, allowing the program to serve 30 students. Recognizing the need for continued support, TMP expanded to include grades through high school by 2013, ensuring a comprehensive educational journey for its students.
Teach My People is proud to provide high-quality afterschool and summer programs that include daily academic assistance, character development, and nutritious meals. For the 2024/2025 academic year, TMP will serve 204 students from first through twelfth grade, fostering both academic and personal growth.
