Our Story

Tau Dance Theater is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable arts organization dedicated to serving the global village through the enrichment of cultural landscapes via dance and performing arts. Founded by Peter Rockford Espiritu, the organization emphasizes Native Hawaiian, Oceanic, multicultural, BIPOC, and AAPI themed work, with a strong commitment to supporting island-based dance performances.
