Our Story

Tate Manahl was just three years old when a tragic lawn mower accident changed his life forever. Severely injured, he was airlifted to The University of Iowa Stead Family and Children’s Hospital, where dedicated doctors fought to save his life and legs. Inspired by their experience, the Manahl family founded Tate's Army to advocate for children's safety and support families facing similar challenges.

Our Impact

Every dollar raised by Tate's Army goes towards developing and sharing vital lawn mower and machinery safety information, as well as providing direct assistance to families affected by these accidents.
