Our Story

Founded in 2013 by Dan Doctoroff, Target ALS Foundation is dedicated to revolutionizing the search for effective treatments for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Established in memory of Dan's father and uncle, the foundation fosters collaboration between academia and the pharmaceutical industry to accelerate ALS research.

Impact

Over the past decade, Target ALS has transformed the ALS research landscape by funding over 600 research grants totaling $64.5 million. This funding has led to the launch of 7 clinical trials and the development of multiple therapeutic approaches for ALS.
