Our Story

With a dedicated all-volunteer Board of Directors and pro bono legal assistance, the organization has expanded its conservation efforts into Citrus and Polk Counties.
Impact
In 2017, the Land Trust Accreditation Commission awarded accreditation to the Conservancy, ensuring the protection of its lands forever. Significant properties secured for conservation include the Gibbons Nature Preserve and 116 acres of pristine bottomland hardwood hammock.
