In 2015, Monique Bonnaffons transformed her life after rescuing a dog named Clarence from a dire situation. With the unwavering support of her family, she founded Take Paws Rescue, driven by a passion for animals and a commitment to helping those in need. What began as a small operation has blossomed into a thriving rescue, with intakes increasing from just a few pets a week to 20-30. Monique has built a dedicated team of volunteers who share her vision, expanding the rescue's reach across Louisiana and beyond.
