Our Story

In 2007, a personal journey began when a best friend was diagnosed with cancer. During her treatment at The Johns Hopkins Comprehensive Cancer Center, a heartfelt initiative was born. Children and teens from a local piano studio came together to create the "Sounds of Hope & Healing" CDs, which were donated to the Avon Foundation for cancer patients. This project not only provided comfort but also inspired a community of young musicians to contribute their talents for a noble cause.

Impact of the Tacy Foundation

Since its inception, the Tacy Foundation has shipped over 4,000 CDs to various hospitals, including Asbury Methodist Village Assisted Living and Walter Reed Military Medical Center. The power of music has been shared with countless patients, bringing joy and healing across the United States.
