In 1974, music industry executive Tony Martell made a heartfelt promise to his son T.J., who was battling leukemia. Determined to make a difference, he vowed to raise $1 million for cancer research to help other children facing similar battles. This promise led to the establishment of the T.J. Martell Foundation, which has since funded groundbreaking research at leading NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers across the United States.
