Our Story

Founded in 1996, Systematic Asian Leadership Training Inc (SALT) was established to address the urgent need for pastoral training in East Asia. With the rural church experiencing exponential growth, traditional Bible schools proved inadequate. SALT recognized that effective training must empower students to become teachers themselves, enabling them to train future church leaders. Targeting experienced rural evangelists with limited education, SALT developed customized training materials in their native languages, addressing their specific needs and educational levels.

Impact

As of October 2024, SALT has successfully conducted 32 training events, equipping thousands of church leaders across Asia. The organization has pioneered a process that allows these leaders to create their own teaching materials, fostering a sustainable model of leadership development that resonates within their communities.
