About First Tee – Syracuse

First Tee – Syracuse began its journey in 2007 as a pilot program and achieved non-profit status in 2008. Since then, it has grown to serve over 800 participants each summer, providing a unique blend of golf instruction and life skills development. The program offers a structured certification pathway, allowing young golfers to progress through various levels, from Player to Ace, based on their skills and commitment.

Impact in the Community

First Tee – Syracuse actively promotes its School Program, introducing golf and core values to elementary and middle school students. This initiative is currently implemented in several city and suburban schools, with ongoing efforts to expand its reach, ensuring that more children can benefit from this enriching experience.
