Our Story
Established in 1983, the Symbral Foundation for Community Services Inc. was born out of a commitment to provide community-inclusive residential services for individuals who were previously institutionalized at Forest Haven. Following a landmark lawsuit that advocated for the rights of these individuals, the foundation has been dedicated to ensuring that those with developmental disabilities can live in the least restrictive environment possible, with dignity and self-determination.
