Our Story

In March 2008, Ann was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer of the plasma cells in bone marrow. With the unwavering support of her family, she sought treatment at the Memorial Cancer Institute, the only outpatient bone marrow transplant program in South Florida. Ann's journey through treatment, bolstered by her loved ones and dedicated medical staff, inspired the creation of Swings for Survivors to assist other patient families facing similar challenges.
