Swan Lake Christian Camp

Our Story

Swan Lake Christian Camp was established in 1942 when Jens and Emma Jensen sold part of their homestead to the South Dakota Baptist Convention. This camp has a rich history, including the use of a retired railroad chapel car as a worship center. Since becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1999, it has continued to serve individuals from all church denominations, focusing on teaching about Jesus Christ and fostering a growing Christian relationship.

Impact

The camp provides a nurturing space for youth to engage in Bible study, personal growth, and community building through various activities and programs, fostering a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
