SustainEd Farms was founded by Izzy Petersen and Matt Suprunowicz, who met as Teach for America corps members in a food desert. They recognized a disconnect among students regarding food sources and health. After moving to Colorado, they established SustainEd Farms to provide locally grown food and experiential education focused on sustainability.
Supporting over 30 schools and community gardens in the Denver area, SustainEd Farms empowers students to become sustainability leaders while ensuring equitable access to fresh foods.
