Our Story

The journey of Sustainable Stillwater MN (SSMN) began in May 2013, ignited by passionate high school students envisioning a greener community. Officially launched in June 2016, SSMN became a 501c3 nonprofit on March 4, 2019. Since then, the organization has been dedicated to reducing the carbon footprint of the Stillwater area, focusing on creating a sustainable environment for future generations.
