Our Story

The Sustainable Path Foundation was established in 2002 by a dedicated group of professionals from Immunex, aiming to blend scientific expertise with philanthropy. Originally known as "The Yet To Be Named Foundation," and later as the Seattle Biotech Legacy Foundation, it was renamed to reflect its commitment to sustainable practices. Over the years, the foundation has funded over $1.8 million in projects that advocate for environmental health, community resilience, and scientific research.

Impact

Since its inception, the foundation has made significant strides, including initiatives to change national accounting standards for publicly owned watersheds and research that established stringent requirements for children's product safety. Citizen science projects have also been supported, empowering communities to monitor wildlife and environmental health.
