Our Story

In 2010, Dr. Mark Snyder was inspired to enhance care for patients undergoing total joint replacement surgeries, leading to a groundbreaking discovery that eliminated infections and complications. By 2012, he applied this medical knowledge to combat Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) affecting over 1 billion people, partnering with local faith and medical leaders. Officially launched in January 2013, Sustainable Medical Missions focuses on training indigenous healthcare leaders and building relationships to create sustainable health solutions.
