Our Story

In the late 1990s, a dedicated group of environmental advocates and educators united to form an organization aimed at promoting sustainability through regional collaboration. Sustainable Hudson Valley became active in 2005 and was incorporated in 2007, focusing on the intersection of local economic vitality and environmental conservation.

Our Impact

Through various initiatives, Sustainable Hudson Valley has coordinated over 60 community events during Hudson Valley Climate Solutions Week, saved over 3,769 items from landfills through Repair Cafes, and planted 2,000 pollinator plants and 48 trees with the help of community volunteers.
