Sustainable Health Empowerment (SHE) was founded in 2017 after a transformative study abroad mission trip with UCLA and CSULB students. This experience revealed the urgent need for quality healthcare in Cambodian villages, inspiring the establishment of SHE. The organization is dedicated to fostering sustainable healthcare by equipping individuals with knowledge and empowering them to continue self-care under the guidance of local healthcare professionals.
SHE has positively impacted over 9,500 individuals through health workshops, medical and dental services, and the distribution of eyeglasses. The organization has also facilitated the donation of over $600,000 worth of medical equipment and supplies, and provided more than 50 prosthetic arms to those in need.
