Supporting Economically Disadvantaged Cancer Patients

Our Story

The Susen Daniel Memorial Cancer Relief Fund was established in 1985 in memory of Susen Daniel, a dedicated Registered Nurse who lost her battle with cancer. Her husband, Mathew Daniel, initiated this fund during her memorial service to support economically disadvantaged cancer patients and their families in India. Since then, SDM has been a beacon of hope, distributing over half a million dollars directly to those in need, with a dedicated team of volunteers ensuring that over 90% of funds raised go directly to patients.

Impact

To date, SDM has raised over $700,000, positively impacting the lives of over 5,000 cancer patients in India.
