Our Story

The Susan Odell Taylor School for Children was founded in 1998 in honor of an extraordinary teacher, Susan Odell Taylor. Known for her vibrant classroom and dedication to her students, Susan inspired countless children during her time at The Children’s School at Emma Willard. After her passing in 1997, the school was established to continue her legacy of fostering a love for learning. From humble beginnings, Taylor School has evolved into a distinguished educational institution in the Capital Region, providing a nurturing environment where children thrive.
