Our Story

The Survival Swim Development Network was founded in May 2016 to promote a gentle, child-centered approach to survival swim instruction. With over 100 years of combined experience, the founding members, Kathleen McMordie, Nadyne Siegel-Brown, and Cindy Clark, established this non-profit organization to empower communities through collective efforts in drowning prevention.

Our Impact

By training and mentoring survival swim instructors, the organization significantly contributes to drowning prevention and education, ensuring children learn essential survival swimming skills.
