Our Story
In 2004, a dedicated group of Butler County citizens established Sunlight Children’s Advocacy and Rights Foundation (SCARF) to create a sensitive and child-friendly environment for those affected by abuse. Initially serving the 13th Judicial District of Kansas, SCARF has expanded its reach to assist any child in need, fostering partnerships with multiple agencies and community resources.
Impact on Children
Sunlight is committed to keeping children safe. From the moment they enter, they are welcomed into a warm, loving environment where they are listened to and protected. Here, they can simply be kids, knowing that they matter and that someone cares.
