Our Story

Suncoast Aqua Ventures was founded in 2016 by Troy Brown and Cheryl Huntsinger, driven by a passion for protecting our coastlines from human litter. Starting with a small group of dedicated volunteers, the organization has grown through partnerships with like-minded organizations, focusing on responsible stewardship of coastal ecosystems.

Our Impact

Since its inception, Suncoast Aqua Ventures has successfully removed over 50 tons of trash from coastal waters, significantly aiding in the preservation of local marine environments. The annual Reef and Beach Cleanup event has become a cornerstone initiative, engaging the community and fostering collaborations to amplify their impact.
