Sumbandila

Our Story

Sumbandila is an educational non-profit established in 2008, dedicated to transforming the lives of extraordinary children from backgrounds of extreme poverty in rural Limpopo, South Africa. By providing a world-class education and a strong mentorship program, Sumbandila guides students through an eight-year educational journey, empowering them to become future leaders.

Impact

Since its inception, Sumbandila has positively impacted over 300 children and their families. Currently, 170 students are studying at universities across South Africa, with 148 graduates successfully entering the workforce and 120 students in the high school program. The organization proudly boasts a 100% employment rate for graduates within six months and a 94% university graduation rate.
