Suburban Emergency Medical Services, originally founded in 1953 as Suburban Fire and Rescue Company, has transformed from a volunteer-based organization into a professional emergency medical service. Covering 19 municipalities in Northampton and Monroe Counties, Pennsylvania, Suburban EMS is dedicated to providing exceptional emergency care and community outreach.

Serving over 142,000 residents and millions of seasonal visitors, Suburban EMS handled over 48,000 calls in 2016 alone. The organization has expanded its services to include non-emergency transport and community education, showcasing its commitment to public health and safety.
