Founded in 2015 by Nicole Hebert-Ford and Jason Phillips, Student Success Stores was created to address the basic needs of students in grades 6-12 from economically disadvantaged communities. By partnering with school personnel, SSS provides free, anonymous stores filled with hygiene products, food items, clothing, and school supplies, ensuring a dignified shopping experience for students.
In the 2023-24 period, Student Success Stores provided 43,368 basic needs items to 2,035 unique students through 3,146 shopping visits, significantly enhancing their ability to learn and succeed in school.
