In the late 1980s, Tom Cash began a mission to uplift students in Jersey City by providing tuition assistance to those attending St. Mary’s High School. Recognizing the importance of quality education, Tom's efforts sparked interest among friends and business partners, leading to the formal incorporation of Student Partner Alliance in 1993. Since then, S/PA has supported over 2,300 students from low-income areas with scholarships and mentorship, paving their way to success.
With a remarkable 100% high school graduation rate and 100% enrollment in college, post-secondary education, or the armed services over the past decade, S/PA is transforming lives through education.
