Our Story
Founded by Father Henry Browne in 1959, Strycker’s Bay Neighborhood Council, Inc. is a grassroots organization dedicated to assisting over 3,000 low- and moderate-income families in the Upper West Side and Harlem each year. By providing direct counseling and services, SBNC fosters a sense of community and support among residents, creating a strong foundation for The West Side Commons.
