Stronger Than Stigma

Our Story

Founded by Gabrielle Magid and her friends during her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, Stronger Than Stigma® emerged from a shared recognition of the underutilization of mental health resources. The organization strives to shift the culture around mental health advocacy, making it more accessible and socially acceptable to discuss mental health issues. Since August 2013, STS has focused on building a supportive community for individuals facing mental health challenges.
