Our Story

Streetlight Christian Ministries began in August 2011 when Lavern and Rosanna moved into Logan Park, an apartment complex in Sacramento. Drawn to the local community, especially the children, they started inviting neighbor children over to play. This initiative blossomed into a weekly Kid’s Club, which eventually formalized into a nonprofit in 2014.

Impact in the Community

Since its inception, Streetlight Christian Ministries has successfully engaged with the local community, providing educational support, life skills classes, and a nurturing environment for children. Over 40 adults and numerous children have benefited from English language skills and academic tutoring.
