Our Story

Street Samaritans began in April 2017, ignited by the compassion of 20 volunteers who delivered 30 care packages to individuals experiencing homelessness in Chicago. This grassroots movement has blossomed into a recognized 501(c)(3) organization, committed to restoring dignity and providing direct support to the unhoused community. With a foundation built on human connection and a commitment to eliminating judgment, Street Samaritans has evolved into a strategic and impactful force for change.
