Strangers No Longer

Our Story

Strangers No Longer is a dedicated network of Circles of Support formed within Catholic parishes, congregations, and immigrant communities across Southeastern Michigan, Traverse City, Grand Rapids, and Saginaw. Established in 2017, this organization embodies the spirit of Catholic Social Teaching and the call to welcome the stranger, as emphasized by Pope Francis. With over 60 immigrant participants, SNL fosters a supportive environment where individuals can share experiences and uplift one another.

Our Impact

Strangers No Longer has successfully engaged over 1700 members, creating a robust support network for immigrant families. The organization provides essential services such as court accompaniment, transportation, translation, and emergency financial assistance, ensuring that families receive the help they need during challenging times.
