About Straight Talk Support Group
Founded in March 2013 by Ms. Bessie Elmore, Straight Talk Support Group began as a beacon of hope for families navigating the challenges of incarceration. With a personal connection to the justice system, Ms. Elmore's mission is to provide essential resources and support for those affected by incarceration. The STSG Transitional House, located at 1101 North Mangum Street, continues the legacy of The Troy House, offering temporary housing assistance to justice-involved individuals released from North Carolina’s Department of Public Safety.
