The Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum, founded in 2016 by Beverly Mills and Elaine Buck, is dedicated to celebrating and preserving the African American narrative. Located in Skillman, NJ, at the historic Mt. Zion AME Church and The Reasoner/True House, the museum serves as a vital space for community engagement and education about the historical impact of slavery.
