Our Story

The Stoddard County Children's Home was founded in 1980 by Melvin 'Churn' Williams, who recognized the urgent need for a safe haven for abused, neglected, and abandoned children. With the support of a dedicated Board of Directors and the community, the Home has grown and recently relocated to a larger facility to better serve its mission.

For over 40 years, the Home has provided essential care, meeting the physical, nutritional, educational, and emotional needs of vulnerable children.
