Our Story

Founded in 2014, the Stewardship of Life Institute emerged to address the pressing need for financial stability among church leaders in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Recognizing the lack of resources available to congregational leaders, the institute initiated a grant program that fosters creative and collaborative grassroots efforts. By partnering with seminaries, judicatories, and congregations, the institute aims to equip leaders with the necessary tools to guide their churches towards financial health.
