Founded in January 2021, the Stewardship Action Foundation is dedicated to educating the public about an equitable, circular economy. As an affiliated organization of the National Stewardship Action Council, SAF focuses on outreach and education to support impactful policy work aimed at reducing waste and regenerating natural systems.
SAF has successfully passed significant legislation, including Truth in Labeling legislation AB 818 in California, ensuring that non-flushable wipes are clearly labeled. This initiative has paved the way for the WIPPES Act, promoting truth in labeling on a national scale.
