Stephen Center

Our Story

Since 1984, Stephen Center has been a beacon of hope for homeless and low-income individuals in Omaha. Founded by Sharon and Dick McNeil, the organization was established to address the pressing needs of those living in poverty in south Omaha. Named in honor of the Apostle Stephen, the center has evolved from its humble beginnings in a former pool hall to a multi-facility campus dedicated to supporting vulnerable men, women, and children.
