Step Onward Foundation

Our Story

The Step Onward Foundation, co-founded by musician and housing insecurity survivor Patrice Pike in 2004, began as the Grace Foundation to assist a young person in need. Over the years, it has evolved to support young adults and families facing homelessness, particularly those who have aged out of the foster care system. Rebranded in 2015, the foundation now provides education, housing, and wellness services to help individuals achieve self-sufficiency.

Impact

With a commitment to fostering independence, the Step Onward Foundation has aided over 200 survivors, raised over $1 million, and provided more than $200,000 in food security and housing assistance. Additionally, over $300,000 has been allocated for higher education aid, partnering with local organizations to ensure comprehensive support.
