Steelton Community Cats (SCC) began as a Trap/Neuter/Vaccinate/Return (TNVR) program in Steelton, PA, addressing the urgent issue of free-roaming cat overpopulation. Since its inception, SCC has expanded its efforts to surrounding townships, providing essential services to improve the lives of countless cats.
Since February 2010, SCC has successfully spayed and neutered over 10,500 cats through its 'Stopping the Cycle' campaign, significantly curbing cat reproduction and overpopulation in local communities. The organization also rehabilitates injured or malnourished cats, ensuring they receive the care they need.
Every donation made to SCC goes directly towards the operations and facility, ensuring that 100% of contributions are utilized for the care of free-roaming cats. As a volunteer-run organization, SCC relies on the generosity of donors to continue its vital mission.
