Steel City Squash

Our Story

Steel City Squash is a community squash center founded in 2015 in Pittsburgh, dedicated to democratizing the sport of squash. By providing access to squash and educational support for students from 4th grade through high school, the organization aims to help them graduate from college and achieve lifelong success.

Impact

With over 2,500 students enrolled, Steel City Squash boasts an impressive annual retention rate of 84%. The program has successfully guided 77% of its urban squash college students towards four-year degrees, with alumni earning degrees at three times the rate of their peers.
