Our Story

Founded in 2015 by Mario Martinez II and Brandon Clarke, StartupAZ Foundation is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of tech entrepreneurs in Arizona. As a component fund of the Arizona Community Foundation, it began with a vision and a seed fund of $100,000. Through initiatives like the Founder’s Collective and the Generosity Pledge, StartupAZ has built a vibrant community of early-stage company-builders, fostering a culture of performance and generosity.

Since its inception, StartupAZ has supported over 120 early-stage founders, significantly impacting the local economy.
