Since 1985, Start The Adventure In Reading Inc. (STAIR) has transformed the lives of over 8,500 second and third graders in the New Orleans area. Originating as a neighborhood outreach mission, STAIR focuses on equipping children with essential reading skills while providing volunteers with a rewarding experience. Despite challenges like Hurricane Katrina, STAIR has continued to thrive and expand its reach.
