Founded in 2008 by Joe Dean, Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, Inc. was inspired by a national news segment on the Honor Flight Network. This organization is dedicated to honoring WWII, Korean, and Vietnam veterans by providing them with all-expenses-paid trips to visit their memorials in Washington, D.C. Through partnerships with local businesses and organizations, the program has grown significantly, ensuring that veterans feel appreciated and recognized for their sacrifices.
