Our Story

Founded in 1998 by Bernie and Sheryl Bovenkamp, Starfish Ministries began by caring for orphans in Haiti. Over the years, the organization has expanded its mission to include education and healthcare, establishing schools and a medical clinic in Northwest Haiti.

Our Impact

Starfish Ministries supports five elementary schools and two high schools, providing daily meals and ensuring access to education for orphans and underprivileged children. The medical clinic addresses physical needs while sharing the love of Christ.
