Starfish Kenya

Our Story

In 2001, the Newberry family traveled to Kenya, witnessing the heartbreaking plight of over 2 million children orphaned by HIV/AIDS. Inspired by the Starfish Story, they realized that even helping one child could make a significant difference. Thus, Starfish Kenya was born, initially supporting a handful of children, which has now grown to over 600 children receiving care and education.

Impact

Since its inception, Starfish Kenya has partnered with House of Hope and St. Anna Care Centre to provide comprehensive support for children in need. This includes education from preschool through university, ensuring that each child not only learns but thrives.
